Skills For Life

The College offers free Literacy and Numeracy Skills for Life qualifications, suitable for those who do not hold a GCSE or O level grade C or above, or Level 2 qualification in the subject they wish to study.  A variety of levels cover individual needs.  They are also suitable if requiring a brush up of Literacy / Numeracy skills and will enable you to work towards progressing within work and society.  Courses are usually run twice a year starting in September and February, after the half term break.

For work-based or Community Outreach, Skills for Life courses can be tailor-made to suit groups in either literacy and/or numeracy and can be delivered at the workplace or community setting.  Train to Gain courses through employers can also be arranged.  Please contact Heather Bradbury or Reception on 01229 828377 to discuss further.
