Welcome to Barrow-in-Furness Sixth Form College
 
Barrow Sixth Form College is the only sixth form college in Cumbria and admits students from a large part of the south of the County. It occupies a pleasant suburban site close to Furness Abbey. The College specialises in the education of 16 – 19 year olds and this is reflected in its ethos. The College aims to provide a stepping stone for students between school and higher education or work. Each year over 250 students progress to university; the specialist support systems available to students incorporate detailed guidance on making HE applications as well as preparation for the world of work.
